A giant plier I made for my static final project. Can be used to measure the output force at the jaw with a known input force (hanging object of known weight at the arm). The arm already has measurements drawn in, so you know exactly how far away the input force is from the pivot point.

Required:

  • 4 x M3 25mm screws (2 for the load cell mount)
  • 4 x M3 20mm screws
  • 4 x M3 16mm screws
  • 8 x M3 hex nuts
