This is my solution to motorize R.A. axis on stock telescope EQ mount. No irrevisible modifications of the mount needed. Just print and snap it on.

It includes:

  • NEMA17 90 degree mount
  • 20:12 conical gears

Also there is a relatively simple arduino project that you can build without soldering or wiring using cheap 3d printer parts, if you don't want to integrate it with any astronomy software or setting up OnStep.
