  • Warning! You will need to file a tiny bit out of the sides of your Pheatus where the bolts connect.

(I set it up began putting the bolts in so you see where the paint scratches and then used a round mini metal file to take a bit off)

  • Second Warning! This lowers your nozzle by about 16mm!. The original print cooling ducts and original placement of the CRTouch wont work!
  • Updated with homebrew printcooling duct for the Dual 5015 fan mod by hoon

The bracket is designed to fit over the original threaded rivets that hold the original hotend. Then using either the original bolts or any M3 (i used my own so can not confirm the originals are long enough) the front part of the bracket locks it in place. The fan legs are designed for M2 insterts to hold the original fan with M2 bolts. The original could thread themselves into the plastic but i have not tried.

The CRTouch spacer lowers the sensor to the correct height. Im am using the UHF version of the rapido which sits lower then the normal one. Attaches with M2 bolts (you will need longer ones then the original)

Last file is a tweaked version of the duel-5015 fan mod by Hoon. The original wasnt low enough and the lowered version kept hitting one of the stepped motors. Used the bracket from Hoon's model and lofted my own exhausts.

Print settings i used (I printed with Fiberlogy PCTG - Graphite).

  1. Brackets on 100% infill no supports.
  2. Printcooling vent 30% infill, Supports only touching buildplate (i used zigzags 15% density, overhang on 60%, one layer height on z distance though support is harder to remove)
  3. CRTouch extender on 30% infil its a simple cube.

  • Credit where credit is due!  Many many many thanks to Hoon! Legendary bloke who made a full cad model i used to balance my models and the Dual 5015 fan mod.
