I updated the Rugged Box design to attach a usb power bank to a bike while allowing the usb ports to be accessable.
This model is still parametric and can easily be sized to fit any usb power bank. I added a wedge shape to the lid to allow it to close when the case is sized to fit the power bank exactly.
To customize this to a different power bank, open the fusion file and in the parameters change the battery sizes.
The images show the box on my bike with the power bank in it. The second to last image shows the wedge I added which allows the cover to close. The last image is an AI generated image of a cute creature because I like it. Not related to the model at all. :-)
Oh, if you're going to attach something like this to your bike - be sure to print it out of something that can handle UV, heat, and vibrations. PLA will not work. PLA is far too brittle, melts at the slightest hint of warm weather (sorta kidding), and the sun turns it into a pumpkin. I used ABS here, but PETG or ASA would be fine too.
The author remixed this model.
I customized this box to fit a specific USB Power Bank that I own. I also added mounting points for bike water bottle braze-ons, and made a cut out for the usb ports. In addition, I added a small wedge shape to the lid to allow it to close when the box is sized to fit the battery exactly.
