I came across @MARCPRUDHOMM_1986375's excellent design for an inline filament cutter designed to fit the Qidi X-Max 3/X-Plus 3 models, but found it didn't quite suit my Qidi Q1 Pro. The longer tube on the bottom of the original body did not fit into the print head, and I wanted the cutter to be held in place but also easily removeable.
I've altered the design of the body of the cutter to slip onto the plastic piece that holds the reverse Bowden tube onto the print head. The “snug” design sits quite low down to the print head, and it can make it difficult to remove the print head. The “space” design leaves a lot more space between the body of the cutter and the top of the print head, so removing the shroud is much easier.
