Only Tested for: 500 with split panels

So After doing marv's AWD mod I wanted to make sure that I could still use my enclosure panels on the printer.

In order to reuse the current panel that I already have I made a template that can be printed so a router with flush trim bit can be used to make space for the AWD mount.

The Cover files can be printed to close off the rest of the space. I made a slot for the wire to run through. On the back of the covers are some slots that can be used to ziptie the wire to the cover.

How to use the template with router:

  • Use the spacer and put it in the top corner of the panel.
  • Put some double sided tape on the router template
  • but the router template up against the spacer and stick it down good
  • Use a flush trim bit, preferably a 2 cutter
  • Put the router on the lowest RPM you can
  • Try to make sure the sheet doesn't get to hot. It'll start melting and cause issues

What do you need:

  • The printed parts
  • I printed the covers in ABS
  • Zipties to tie the wire down to the panel
  • 10x 6mm T-nut for extrusion
  • 10x M6 x 6mm flat head bolt
  • You could add some of the foam strip to the covers
