Locking Rivet/Binding Post

This rivet/binding post locks together using a short piece of filament to help prevent it from pulling apart in tension. 

There are two pieces. Rivet Post and Rivet Washer. The washer is designed to snap over the end of the post. A piece of filament is inserted into thru hole in the center of the rivet post, forcing the locking legs on the post outward. A little interference is created to keep the filament in place.

Included is the Fusion 360 file.  The dimension can be modified by changing the parameters (diameter, height, etc.).

Note that the tolerances are very tight on this model.
