Extended nozzle for Kica Jetfan 2.0 air duster… 80mm long, 13mm opening. Achieves basically the same air velocity as the ‘stock’ 14mm nozzle, but with extended reach.
For printing, I recommend using adaptive layer height to capture the detail of the threads and speed printing for the rest. In Orca, minimum for me was ~0.15mm, max was ~0.28mm. Print with enough perimeters it fills solid. I used an inner brim to hold things down. I also was playing with the new-ish ‘scarf joint seam’ in Orca which seems to do well.
The filament I use tends to pull inward slightly when cooled. To get good ‘fitment’ of the threads, I used +0.4mm ‘x-y contour compensation.’ Depending on your printer/filament, you may need to make minor tweaks. I suggest printing the first few millimeters as a test and tweaking as necessary…
Enjoy!
