Perfect for travel but only for light clothes

I printed a few of these for my wife and I to use on a trip (there never seems to be enough hangers in the hotel room), and they worked great! So now I'm printing a bunch more as stocking stuffers for Christmas. Thanks!

Diseño sencillo pero efectivo
Fácil de imprimir y muy rápido
Utilicé PLA sunlu sin soportes

The solid STL printed on MK4 using California Filament translucent yellow PETG.
0.4mm nozzle
0.42mm first layer extrusion width
0.2mm structural
Organic supports with default settings.
20% gyroid infill.
I remove the supports using needle nose pliers and then grip the base of the arm near the hinge and gently rotate. It has been breaking free pretty consistently.

I have got to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by this model! I didn't think the structural members were large enough to be strong enough for normal use, and I was dead wrong! This hanger has a perfectly sized hook (fitting over a 1.5" bar) and - although it has some flex - it is entirely adequate for supporting a heavy knit sweater or hoodie. The folding portions printed in place flawlessly, and the structural supports/end stops to simultaneously halt the outward fold and provide load bearing structural support are ingenious. I will absolutely be printing a bunch more of these as well as sharing with friends and family and sending the link with 3D printing friends all they can also download and use
Thank you very much for building this clever model and for choosing to share it!

These are so easy to print and soooo useful. Printed them for my trip to Greece and they consistently came in handy :)
