the ball in this adapter connects to RAM system mounts and the plate is compatible with T665 android phone from DMD (Drive Mode Dashboard)
The central hole fits a screw (I used a self-tapping wood screw) in order to keep the object in compression perpendicularly to the layer lines and strengthen the joint between the ball and the plate, which is subject to the most stress.
I have extensively tested the design and it has held up well to off-road use.
