The ring/donut/bagel is now 3D printable! Designed with a max overhang of 55 degrees. No support material should be required on any 3D printer with a part cooling fan. Print two copies and assemble with standard Vex hardware. Note that this ring will be heavier than the real rings, and should only be used for dimensional testing.
Update 5/7/24: Test print showed the clearance hole for the thread of a 8-32 bolt is a bit tight. Either use a #19 (ideal) or 11/64" (acceptable) drill bit to clean the holes up, or I have an updated model with a looser tolerance (RevA).
Recommended settings:
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Bottom Layers: 3
Top Layers: 4
Perimeters: 3
Infill: 20% Cubic
