If your RockShox fork has the cutout for the “Torque Cap” hubs, but you have standard hubs, it can be tough to line up the front wheel with the thru-axle. Originally this could be fixed with the original design which had to be glued in place or attached with double sided tape, but SRAM has now modified the fork so there is a cutout with a screw mount on newer forks.
Before you ask - yes, SRAM did include these parts with the fork. but it was far quicker for me to print these off than to figure out where I might have put those. ;)
This design will work with those new forks. Prints with no supports pretty much any which way you want, and attaches with a flat head short M3 screw. I used an M3x6 flat head in stainless. I printed at 0.20mm layer height (0.4mm nozzle) with 4 walls, but honestly that much strength isn't really needed, as this is just locating the axle endcaps until the thru-axle is in place.
