Check out my YouTube video on the making of this enclosure! We found out that the enclosure dampened the found output of the FlashForge Adventurer 5M by 10 decibels, as well as acting as thermal insulation to hold in the build area heat!

These are the wooden dowel lengths you will need to recreate my volume:

Length (inches)Quantity
208
16.254
148
10.512
6.53
  •  The 20 inch rods create the squares for the left and right sides of the containment, with the 14 inch dowels being used for the 45 degree cross bracing also on the left and right.
  • The 16.25 inch dowels connect the left and right sides.
  • The 10.5 inch dowels are the angled pieces on the front, top, and back sides of the containment. The 6.5 inch dowels being the pieces running parallel in between the left and right sides that connect the Tri braces.

Notes:

  • The front and back sides of the containment are not completed in the Solidworks model.
  • The numbering in the picture above are referring to the numbers in the STL names.
