VW Corrado Hatch Lift Assist

This is a replacement part for a VW Corrado hatch lift assist. It goes by many names like toggle catch or rear boot catch toggle catch actuator. The part number is 535 827 761 and is no longer made. 

You will need a compression spring for the inside of it. I reused mine from the original part but the dimensions of the spring is:

Diameter: 12.5mm 

Length: 68mm

Coils: 16

Printing

For the body and the tip, I printed them horizontal with 100% infill and added raft layers and organic supports to help the print. 

The locking piece I just printed normally but just make sure the flat side is down.
