this is a simple shell rollup designed for 9mm shells/cartridges
since all the shell rollups are 500$ and up I design this as a cheep print.
It works on hard floors such as asphalts and concrete and I take it to the range when I go.
the design is very simple it uses a 9mm 1000 round box as its collection box (in the picture).
you will need :
2 - M4X45mm
8- M4X20mm
9- M3X60mm
9- M3 inserts
2- 608zz bearings
1- wood broom stick
2 - small wood screws
a lot of small zip-ties to connect the Matts to the Wheel (minimum 36)
you will need to print in flexible material (I used 92A TPE Or 95A TPU should be fine):
6 matts ( make sure you print with 2mm thick walls)
2 box wheels
The rest in PLA :
2 side brackets
2 scoop handles (mirrored to get 2 side effect)
2 wheel caps
The rest just once
to assemble:
the bearing go in the box wheels
the M4X45 go in the box_tray_small and are used as axis for the wheels.
the box_wheel and the bearings fit on the axis and closed with the wheel caps
the M3 inserts go in the top box_tray_small . there are 9 dedicated hole in the front.
the M3X60mm are the extraction mechanisms (screwed in the inserts) to extract the shells from the matts.
once screwed cut the heads off and make sure they are aligned to the Matt pins.
the side brackets connect by the M4X20 to the “box_tray_small” sides
cut a small piece from the wood broom stick that will fit in the handle.
put the cut wood in the handle and the side brackets rings
screw in the wood screws to the wood in the handle dedicated holes
screw in the rest of the wood stick in the handle broom grooves
I hope this will be clear I will try and update the instructions as I go.
in the mean time enjoy.
