I made this air filter to reduce the air intake noise on my Vespa PK 125. It has more clearance to the frame than the one I had since it tended to crash into the frame when two people were on top.
The holes need to be at the bottom. It needs tree supports with at least 60° of tree branch angle to reach all of the roof through the holes. I printed it with a layer hight of 0.3mm to speed up the print. It worked decently with a few non critical defects on overhangs. 0.2mm layer hight would probably result in a better print. The tree supports were very hard to remove, it took me 45min with needle-nose pliars to do it so you should not make them too dense or strong.
Slits might need to sawed into the ring in order to reach sufficient clamping force on the carburetor. My carburetor is mounted a little bit weird, which means you will have to check yourself for clearance.
