I had this lamp from IKEA (looks like its been updated since, but similar to this one: https://www.ikea.com/de/de/p/naevlinge-klemmspot-led-weiss-70449888/) But the clamp was broken, so I designed and printed a new one.
Took me ages to cut away the old plastic, until I realised it was just screwed into it. Could have saved myself some time there, but oh well.
I also needed to cut the cable and solder it back together after pulling it through the new clamp. I would suggest you do the same, and use some heat shrink tubing or electrical tape when patching it together. This thing is meant to go in your home after all, so make sure it's safe! Also mark the polarity of the cables before cutting them, and save yourself the headache of soldering it together only to realise you messed it up when it doesn't turn on.
