Usage: Press the Opener firmly onto the bottle's cap and then twist it to loosen the cap.

Explanation: Some people, especially elderly people, do not have enough force in their fingers to squeeze and twist screw caps. Even with tools like pincers they have difficulties. It is difficult to squeeze together the pincers and twist the cap at the same time.

This Screw Cap Opener is used in separate steps:

1. Press the Opener firmly enough onto the bottle's screw cap 
2. Twist the Opener to loosen the cap
3. Remove the cap from the Opener by pressing a finger tip on the cap through the hole on top of the opener.

There is some force needed to press the Opener firmly enough onto the cap. How much depends on how firm the cap is fixed onto the bottle. You need to try out. Start with little force and increase it if necessary. May the force be with you.

The most common water bottles have screw caps with a diameter of 28 millimeters. I intend to publish openers for screw caps with other diameters as well. To distinguish the different openers, “28” and “Wa” as an abreviation for “Water” is written on the bottom surface.

For stability, 3D print using 3 perimeters and 2 mm layers and 20% infill. No supports needed.
