This project converts an old ATX PSU in to a bench supply with variable power out put.
They are pretty easy to source from dead office pcs.
For a better fit I would recomend cutting of all wires you dont need. Also if your PSU has a power switch, you can solder a wire across 2 pin on the breakout board to start the PSU when you flip the switch.
You will need the following parts:
4x PSU screws
4x m3 20mm screws
4x m3 heat inserts

p.s. I know some of the dimensions are a bit of. It is not pretty but It works. I throu the whole thing to getter in thinkercad in one evening.
