Ever wonder who cleans up after your group of adventurers stampedes through a dungeon?
Pack Rats, that's who.
This is a 28mm scaled miniature meant to fit on a 25.4mm / 1 inch base (not included), for use with tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, etcetera.
Loredump:
While often confused for Ratfolk in the various realms where they both exist, Natomids couldn't be more different. They're short, roughly half the height of an average human, but thick and sturdy, and can be incredibly quick to flee when threatened. They live lives of solitary focus, often in loose communities, but never co-habitating with others for very long.
This reserved lifestyle isn't from any inherent antisocial nature, but because others living with them could threaten the quality and organization of their great collections! Natomids are driven by a great need to collect, curate, and hoard a great number of things, and may even take up a craft or trade related to their personal fascination. It isn't uncommon to find them browsing or working in dusty curio stores, town square markets, or shady back alley stalls, always looking for good deals on rare and wonderous objects.
Some may take up the more adventurous life, delving into dungeons and catacombs after an adventuring party has cleared out the threat and carefully collect what they might have missed. If you're lucky, you might run into one of these "Pack Rats" on your adventures, offering trade with your party just as your supplies run low!
Printing Info:
While you'll get the best quality printing in resin, I've done my best to optimize this sculpt for FDM printing to reduce the need for essential supports, but will still require some beneath the body of the pack rat. I've had good success with Tree Supports(Auto) with type set to Organic or Slim in Orca/Bambu for best quality. As with any miniatures, be sure to slow down outer walls for best detail quality.
My example prints were printed at 300%, 200%, and 100% respectively with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.12mm layer heights on a stock Bambu P1S with Beige Elegoo PLA.
