I had this USB hub/card reader by LogiLink lying around. The device is useful but it kind of always is in the way for me and I hate that I have to hold it to remove a USB stick.
So I tackled both of these problem by designing a under desk mount that replaces the base plate/weights of the hub to mount it to the table. To make the construction more sturdy, I added the front piece for some support in that area.
I printed in PETG for the bottom plate part and PLA for the front part, both with 15% infill and 3 walls. Works great and is sturdier than expected.
You need 4x 3.5/4mm diameter wood screws.
This is my first model, so if you have any ideas for improvement or tips to improve the way I model, let me know! :)
