To be inserted into the center hole of a filament spool. Model relies on the slicer to create breathable walls. Just set numbers of top and bottom shell layers to zero, outer wall loops to 8 or so and choose an infill pattern and density to your liking. I favoured Gyroid, Cubic and Honeycomb, printed with layer height 0,2 mm in transparent PLA.

OrcaSlicer 2.0.0 messes up the top layers of the round walls slightly (still usable, though), so I went with Simplify3D (Gcode for Bambu Lab P1S included, transfer via FTP or SD card).

Outer dimensions: ⌀ 50 mm ⨉ 40 mm

Files:

  • Autodesk Fusion model:
    • Silica Trommel.f3d
  • STL models, maybe try the 3,0 mm version if the lock is too tight and/or play with the scaling:
    • Silica Gefaess.stl
    • Silica Deckel 3,0mm (smaller nipple).stl
    • Silica Deckel 3,2mm.stl
  • Zip file:
    • Gcode for Bambu Lab P1S with AMS, rendered by Simplify3D. 3x has three copies on one plate:
      • Silica_Trommel_3,2_Gyroid_33_Bambu_P1S_Ex4.gcode
      • Silica_Trommel_3x_3,2_Gyroid_33_Bambu_P1S_Ex4.gcode
    • Optionally apply this patch to the P1S Gcode to switch from AMS slot 4 to 1, manually or by running patch:
      • extruder_1.patch
