As I wanted to use the side bins not only for print waste and scraps, but also as a storage for my utility tools, I wanted at least one of them as a closed version, as I do have one for my Prusa MINI+ (Big drawer for Prusa Mini Base: https://www.printables.com/de/model/70208 )
So I took @Eisvogel's bin and remodelled it to fit the left side of my Prusa MK4. For the drawer handle I took a part of Jerrari's GEN2 Grid Drawer, because I found the polygon look very suitable to the overall look the drawer should have.
Printing instructions:
Material: PLA for the body / PETG for the inner (was a choice of colors I had available, but nearly every combination should work well, just take what you like)
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer: 0.2mm
Orientation: I recommand to print as oriented when loading the model.
Supports:
Also, if you want to have more neat and clean storage: simply mirror it for the right side version ;-)
I you have any questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you! Likes are also appreciated ;-)
Happy printing!
Edit: @SurfMan mirrored the drawer and points out, that you have to be careful when using a “long” USB drive. You might bump into it when opening the drawer on the right side. I didn't do a mirrored one, so I wasn't aware of that. Shoutout to you and thanks!
The author remixed this model.
remodelled Eisvogel's 2-hook-version into a closed drawer with the same outer dimensions.
added Jerrari's GEN2 drawer's handle to the front, because I wanted a streamlined polygon look
