Thanks to D4rk Helmet for the original model.

Created this remix to reduce printing costs with the 3D printing service providers that I took into consideration (I do not own a printer myself, so I have to rely on these) - the original model would have cost almost half the price of the access point itself, which would have been beyond acceptable for me.

Used this for two EAP615-Wall access points. Having a look at the images of EAP225-Wall and EAP235-Wall, the remix should also work for those.

Had this printed in PETG with 80% filling. I don't know if it was material shrinking or a minor measuring deviation in the model, but the original mounting base plate (the metal one) of the access point was ~0.5mm too wide for the outer edge of this spacer - but bending the model a little bit outward worked fine (also with the help of drilling the holes for the two wall plugs slightly further apart into the wall). Just that you are prepared…

The 6mm opening for the Cat6A cable visible from some of the photos was created manually by me and is NOT part of this model.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Greatly reduced inner wall thickness to reduce material usage (and printing costs). Kept all other measurements.
