A complete replacement for the gear-box of stiga tabletop hockey game.
I wasn't completely satisfied with the existing models I could find, so I've made my own from scratch.
In my game there are two types of mechanisms: “normal ”and “low profile”. The .stl / .3mf files contain parts for both of these, just print parts what you need to replace.
Gears where made to be compatible with the original. In my repair I've completely replaced the mechanism for one of the players, and replaced just the rod and the vertical gear in another.
The design fixes the gear in place with a clip, no glue is required for assembling. Gear box should be printed with supports, your can refer to the provided .3mf project for Prusa slicer.
FWIW, I've printed the replacement parts from PLA, and these hold surprisingly well so far. I've sanded a little the cylindrical part of the rods and sprayed moving parts with a silicone spray.
Goes w/o saying, it is better to retain some of the original parts rather than replacing everything (the original gears appear to be molden from nylon and have lower friction compared to alternatives).
I am sharing my fusion 360 design file, to make adjustements you may require easier.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
