Travel Dice Tower and Storage Box

This is a refined version of my Travel-Sized Dice Tower and Box originally posted here: https://www.printables.com/model/510162-travel-sized-dice-tower-and-box 

The design consists of a dice tower that fits within an outer protective shell. The shell also holds the tower upright and serves as a box to catch the dice when you roll them. The tower includes a small door that closes off the bottom opening, allowing you to store your dice directly inside of it. I haven't tested the full capacity but it can easily hold multiple standard 7-dice sets at once.

Assembly notes:

• The dice tower itself glues onto the box lid. There is a ridge on the tower that slots into a groove on the lid to ensure it is lined up properly.
  • I used regular CA glue to adhere them together.
• The door itself just snaps into place at the hinges. There are slots included in both the door and the tower to insert 20x5x2mm magnets to hold it shut. 
  • Depending on your print tolerances the magnets may be held in fine by friction alone, but I added a small amount of glue just in case.
• The tower can be printed upright with no supports (it should already be in the proper orientation in the included STL).
• It's not required but I highly recommend getting some cheap stick-on felt (or similar) to cover the inside of the door, the bottom of the box, and the platforms within the tower. There is a cutout on the wall of the box to allow you to put a panel there without getting in the way of the tower when you close it. This helps a lot with the noise of rolling hard plastic dice in a plastic print with hollow walls.

Improvements from the previous version:

• Refined tolerances and added cutouts for stick-on felt panels (significantly reduces noise)
• Added a divot to the inside of the box to make it significantly easier to close the door.
• Added a “TOP” label to the back of the lid to make it easier to open without accidentally spilling your dice out of the open top of the tower.
