Kenmore / Wirlpool Washing Machine Detergent Clasp Repair (PN: 8540400)

The release nubbin on our washing liquid tray wore down and no longer latched. 

This glue-able collar raises the clasp and adds some structure to the bottom side of the original part. 

You could also repair this with building up a profile with superglue and baking soda, but this felt longer lasting. 

I get this is super specific, but i would have smiled if someone else's solution had popped up when I searched for it, so here you are!
