The Fishing Can Cooler

I have had this thing rattling around in my head for 3-4 years and then saw Shark Tank one day this December on reruns, and saw my idea had been used. I went on to Thingiverse and started looking for a quicker way to put my idea into a usable file using Tinker Cad, so everyone could enjoy this with a twist for the better, in my humble opinion. I introduce to you the Fishing Can Cooler! I want to thank boath, SanfordPrime for the use of the Koozie-Screw Top and, talphik for the Hand line Fishing Reel which I used as a child in the 70's. Commonly known as a Cuban Yoyo. These two items combined are a great addition for everyone this summer at the lake. Use it as a portable fishing pole anywhere you go with a soda to stay cool on a hot summer day. This thing is great and can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age. Carry your drink and fishing pole everywhere you go. You will love it. Great for teens to take fishing when traveling on their bicycles. It is extremely portable and easy to carry. I just wish I had designed it and released it faster. Oh well at least this way everyone can enjoy it for free. Feel free to remix my file and make changes to them as you wish in the end you have to customize it so that it is truly yours, Right?

keep in mind that the time to print can be longer depending on your infill and the shape of your infill also be sure to use supports but keep in mind the type of supports can also add time to the print.

Post-Printing

I will be uploading the file and the pictures of the printed product as soon as I can print one. along with maybe photos of the real thing and possibly some video of it in action. But I was able to take 2 items from Thingiverse and combine them. it took me some doing to get things to line up and work but in the end I got it and made a different very usable product.

I resized the ring to fit the front of the can cooler and resized it and trimmed off the inside lips protruding in tinker CAD. Now it is a whole new product under creative commons license. This thing has been bouncing around in my head for 3 to 4 years because I use to use the Ring by itself to go fishing. Why not combine two of the most popular things in the Midwest? Drinking a cold beverage and fishing. What really got me was seeing reruns of Shark Tank this December and seeing my product on TV redone by someone else in rubber. Mine is 3D printed has a hard shell and can be filled with foam insulation if you reduce the infill and modify it. You can also fill it with liquid or similar things so that you can freeze it or try other things with it. I will not vouch for that working as I have not experimented with that yet. So I figure everyone can have it, that has a 3D printer and enjoy it freely. Print away and have a great time. I would like to see what other ideas people have for this or if they can think of other things to add to it?
