Important Note: I have not yet received all of my parts to complete my build, and have not tested these parts in a full printer.
I have included multiple versions of the carriage - with the integrated tensioner on either the bottom side (default), or on top (easy-print). In the default location, the tensioner prints in place inside of the carriage acting as a zero-waste support structure. After printing just clip a belt into its apex-clip and yank it out.
However - that tensioner has very little contact with the bed which can make it difficult to print. For an easier print, you can use the version with tensioner on top. This prints as two separate pieces both needing no support at all.
Required Materials:
On top of the default MIN BOM, each of these carriages you print will require:
The author remixed this model.
It replaces the belt clamping mechanism with Apex Clips, and integrates a belt tensioner into the carriage.
There is also a versiopn the bearing clamps done on the outsides instead of in the center - that's just a visual preference.
