Description

PDF

Originaly made with XPS Foam to keep my XBOX controllers neat and organized.

To get some texture I've used fuzzy skin 0.5/0.8.

I've provided “-fuzzy-mod” file to be able to disable fuzzy skin on hanger cutouts, as well as pre-prepared 3mf file for it that also has some additional discs to lower the chances of warping.

Each STL file has a description with proposed color match.

Print Settings (for MK4):

  • Printer profile: 0.4 InputShaping
  • Print Settings: 0.2 Speed
  • Infill: 5%-10%
  • (f0-f3) Fuzzy skin
    • Outside walls
    • Thickness 0.5
    • Point Distance 0.8
  • (f0-f3) Top fill pattern: Hilbert Curve
  • pins require brim and higher infill (30%)
  • hangs require supports to get smooth controller touching surface
  • Beware of warping on bigger parts. You can add some flat cylinders (mouse ears) in slicer to help remedy that.

Use CA glue to join everything together. I would recommend using insert as a guide but not glueing it to the rest of the stand, this way you can pull it out and clean or use separately.

Footprint (WxDxH): 27cm x 27cm x 10.5cm

Filaments used for example print:

Spectrum PLA Forest Green

Spectrum PLA Chocolate Brown

Spectrum PLA Pearl Gray
