This is the P-SAT: the Printable Slim Talon Mag!
I've been a bit bothered by the lack of a simple printable slim angled Talon and so, after taking some inspiration by the sure.t mag, i've designed my own. It needs the same Foamblast drum spring that the majority of printable magazines use.
Printing Instructions
The Body needs to be printed upright, but it's modeled too long to fit in a standard Prusa i3 or an Ender 3 so i reccomend to CUT the model to the desired lenght (DO NOT RESIZE IT), this can easily be done directly in your slicer. For example i've cut mines to 170 mm that corresponds roughly to a 12 darts capacity. It can theoretically be printed with the same printing parameters recommended by t4obrien for his sure.t mags, but if you want a sturdier mag feel free to beef up the perimeters.
The Follower is printed with the side with the hole for the drum spring on the buildplate.
The Base is printed with the bottom face on the buildplate.
Assembly Instructions.
Just like the sure.t you start with inserting the drum spring in the holes at the top of the mag, then , with the help of a ruler or something similar, push the spring down the mag until it exits the mag and silde the follower on the spring, then, with the ruler, slowly slide the follower up into the mag. When you have done simply push the base in place.
Final Notes
I could only test the compatibility with the Quik and the Satakieli, but it should work also with the Worker Nightingale.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
