This is a replacement latch for tubs/totes I purchased at the container store. The manufacturer is IRIS. There are many sizes but the latch seems to be similar with all the weathertight ones.
It seems the point of failure on these latches is always the stupid plastic peg. I tried many revisions to get the peg to work better but ended up just creating holes for an M3 machine screw and nut. This solves the issue of the peg breaking and imo is what they should have done in the first place because we all know every brand of these things has the same issue.
Included are the fusion 360 design files.
