Instructions as described by the original file maker (ZieLandy):

You will need A PTFE tube and coil spring.
-PTFE tube: Length: 40mm, 1.8mmx2.6mm
-Coil spring (Eg. From a ball pen)

Instruction of use:
Use a lighter or heat gun to heat the middle of the tube and spring. Push both sides of filament together as you do so. Keep the heat source there as you push the filament together from both sides, then remove the flame or heat source. Next, pop the side covers around the filament tube and push as hard as you can. This will act as a mold to ensure no deformities are present.

Due to the hot spring, it is normal for the pushers (mold/sides) to be damaged from its heat. They are needed to maintain consistent shape from the mold.

WHY DO YOU NEED A SPRING?
When you heat the PTFE tube, it softens. Two filaments are pushed in from both sides in that state, and the tube expands at the butted part. A spring is installed to prevent this expansion. Therefore, when you choose a spring, its inner diameter should be approximately the same as the outer diameter of the tube.

Cut the two filament ends at a 45 degree angle for best fusion results. This will ensure smooth adherence.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Different design, and slightly different hole sizes for the best results to ensure a good fit. Also added some clearance between the pads you push in on to ensure that you are getting the best, most round fit and it doesnt warp due to the springs heat.

Take this to another level To make it a FILAMENT DRYER!

Use a thumbtack or extremely fine drill bit to poke holes around another separate PTFE tubes top (only one side, not the flame side). Then heat the non hole side with a flame and slide the filament through semi quickly to dry out any filament you may have lying around. Don’t use the side covers for this build as they should never directly touch the flame.
