I updated my Lerdge IX to use the Aquarius Direct Drive.
Inserting the filament into the printer became a torment.
I used @raidy_980179's filament guide (https://www.printables.com/model/528005-lerdge-filament-sensor-improvement-for-direct-extr) to help guide the filament into the bowden tube.
However, I discovered that the motor shaft interferes with the installation.
There was a back cover here at Printables to replace the extruder motor, but I couldn't find it, I believe the creator must have removed it.
So I made one myself.
You will need 4x M3x6x5 Heat inserts.
I printed mine in ABS, however I believe PLA and PETG should work too.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
