Silence your Rise Garden! This sound reduction kit significantly minimizes the water flow sounds. After installing, the sounds from the flowing and draining water will be so quiet you'll barely notice them. The quiet hum of the electric pump will now be the primary sound you hear.

Compatible with 1-3 tire 2nd Gen Rise Gardens. I don't have a 1st Gen Garden so I cannot confirm if this kit will work with it.

Printing Instructions


Print with PETG. It is very important to follow all the infill patterns and percentage settings as well as the other settings. I tested over 30 different combinations to optimize the flow for minimal sound without reducing the flow too much or introducing other issues.

I have pre-slice gcode for the Prusa XL with all parts and one extra Drain Top and Bottom Screen.

RG-Tank_Ram
  • Stock settings are fine.
RG-Tray_Drain_Screen_Top
  • Top/Bottom Layers: 0
  • Perimeters: 0
  • Infill Pattern: Gyroid
  • Infill percentage: 20%
  • Infill extrusion width: 0.6mm
    • A 0.4mm nozzle can easily handle 0.6mm extrusion width (that is what I use). You can also use a 0.6mm nozzle.
RG-Tray_Drain_Screen_Bottom

Import RG-Tray_Drain_Screen_Bottom and then right-click on the model, then select Add modifier > Load and choose RG-Tray_Drain_Screen_Bottom_Mod

Change the following main print settings

  • Infill Pattern: Gyroid
  • Infill percentage: 30%
  • Infill extrusion width: 0.6mm
    • A 0.4mm nozzle can easily handle 0.6mm extrusion width (that is what I use). You can also use a 0.6mm nozzle.

Change the following print settings only for the modifier

  • Top/Bottom Layers: 0
  • Perimeters: 0
