HAIRY Brush - 40mm

A brush made to be sustainable. Developed with modularity in mind, the handle is reusable and the bristles are easy to replace. With years of tinkering, we are finally happy to share this with you and eager to hear your feedback.

TwistClick 

A click with a twist. We designed this mechanism to be wear-resistant and tested it to withstand over 1000 open&close cycles. With its integrated spring it secures the handle and bristles firmly, while providing an easy release experience. 

Design

With printability and usability at its core, the design is kept minimal.  A specially tuned geometry allows the bristles to be printed with extra fluffy tips and requires only a minimum of material. 

Material

Made for Prusament PLA. The bristles printed in regular “glossy” PLA can be easily detached from its supporting tower by simply tearing it off. Other materials will work as well, but removing the tower will require a knife and some caution.

Printing

Engineered for 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layerhight and Arachne settings from PrusaSlicer, the bristles are even picky about orientation, while the handle and its parts can be printed with almost any preference. For the best look and feel, we recommend 100% infill density, but no brim nor supports are needed.
