Another set of Chess Pieces

Dimensioned to better follow the Staunton guidelines. King is 75.5mm tall.

Built-in weighted.

There are subtle hints built into the pieces to help those just learning chess.  For instance:

• King - eight shallow divots signifying the limited move distances.
• Queen - eight deep divots signifying the unlimited distance moves.
• Bishop - a small ‘X’ on its rear indicating the diagonal moves.
• Knight - a small upside-down ‘L’ indicating the shape of its moves.
• Rook - Four merlons (the bumps on the top of the wall) horizontal/vertical moves.

Printing

No supports needed.

I printed with 3 walls and lightning infill.  This makes the base weight even more significant.
