When I ordered 10 kg of filament I never imagined i would get a single 10 kg spool\u2026 so i had to find something big to handle it.

I found the original model from Hardy74 great - simple and strong - but it didn't fit my 10 kg filament roll so i made a variant with PrusaSlicer directly.

This nice slicer allows cuts in model so i just needed to had the missing parts to reach the desired width which are now 260 mm for the base and 230 mm for the rolls. I didn't change anything else.

I use both PrusaSlicer and Cura depending on the project, but here PrusaSlicer is recommended.
The 3mf file is for PrusaSlicer ONLY. It contains both the widened base and roll models.

I also included the stl from the base and the roll if you want to slice with another software.

Be aware that the 3mf includes some infill variation - 100% for the first and last 13/14 mm of the roll - to make the rolls sturdy enough.
At first i didn't do that and a roll axis broke under the weight (strangely it continued to be usable, meaning i think the initial modeling was good).
With 100% infill at both extremities the rolls are really strong and didn't move since.
If you don't use PrusaSlicer you'll probably have to set it again.

Standard PLA
Support : yes, for the rolls. Again, the 3mf file is correctly set.
Bed adhesion : raft for the rolls, brim for the base.
