These parts adapt the [Dragon Burner](https://github.com/chirpy2605/voron/tree/main/V0/Dragon_Burner) to the [Rook MK1](https://www.printables.com/model/387431-rook-mk1-3d-printer).
The parts were specifically designed for [Fabreeko's Rook MK1 kit](https://www.fabreeko.com/products/rook-mk1-by-rolohaun-3d-pre-order), which uses the Trianglelab CHC CR-10 hotend. The following models are included:
You will lose some printing space (about 5mm each side) with this mod. I'm working on some additional modifications to improve this, and will link them here when they're available.
Assembly should follow the same process as any other Dragon Burner build.
The x-carriage was designed with two specific goals:
When tensioning the belts, it may be helpful to temporarily secure them using twist ties, tape, or some other means. However, once the hotend is mounted on the carriage, it will clamp the belt in place on its own.
While this design has worked well for me, if you encounter any issues, please leave a comment. I have some ideas for alternate designs to implement if this one is difficult for others to use.
2024-04-24: Added new version of the x-carriage with integral brace for improved rigidity (suggestion credited to Cova on the Rolohaun Discord)
Print parts in the orientation used in the STLs. The x-carriage mount has modeled-in supports which will need to be removed; the hexagon at the top front, and in front of the belt mounts on either side.
Print using ABS/ASA, although you can try using a PC blend if you're feeling spicy.
