Parametric ISO Container in H0 scale (1:87)
Description
PDFThis is a variable length ISO container for H0 scale model railroads. The CAD file is parametric. STL files are available for 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-foot variants.
Print with 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height, 5% infill. The containers in the images were printed with RAL 7040 PLA filament from colorfabb.com.
Company logos can be applied with water slide decals. A PDF with MAERSK logos that can be printed on A4 water slide decal paper is included in the set of files.
The containers can be made compatible with NEM 380 by mounting small pieces of 0.6 mm diameter wire in the marked holes in the corners on the underside. Dip the tip of the wire in super glue (cyanoacrylate) and hold it with pliers to the marked hole and heat with a soldering iron until the wire sinks into the plastic. Cut the wire so that it protrudes 0.8 mm.
