The model was printed in Twinkling / clear PLA using a FlashForge Finder,  with vertical support used to allow printing.   Silver may also work, I didnt want to distract too much from the grey of the model.

One screw holds the model to the wall at an angle through the wall mount, mainly to try spread the load over more of the PLA structire so preventing  the PLA around the screw being damaged if the screw is overtightened. This should be considered when a hole in the wall and plug is used.  The wall here is hollow so this slight diagonal hole did not present an issue,

 
When installed the assembled model sits on a printed cup and pin section that the base of the model shojdl easily sit on, however while this works fine, because my model is wall mounted on a lighweight stud wall,  near a door I have decided to put Blu-tak type sticking putty in the cup to prevent the model being knocked off if the door is slammed closed.
