G103a Twin II

This is astatic model of the popular training glider Grob G103a Twin II as found in many gliding club. The model comes in a ready to use bluid plate. If the outer wing parts are too difficult to print straight up, it might be a good idea to print it flat.

Printed just fine on my Ender 3 with 0.16mm PLA layers, after a slicing done with PusaSlicer.

No raft or brim used, these would probably be a pain to remove ^^

Finishing

• Basic finishing can be done with just acrylic paint applied with a brush or even using a felt pen.
• For a pro finish I use the following:
  • Rough sanding of the model
  • Apply UV resistant epoxy resin witha brush
  • Fine grain sanding
  • Acrylic paint applied with airbrush
  • Clear acrylic coating applied with airbrush
