ASK13

This is astatic model of the popular training glider ASK13. The model comes in two ready to use bluid plate. If the outer wing part is too difficult to print straight up, it might be a good idea to print it flat.

Printed just fine on my Ender 3 with 0.16mm PLA layers, after a slicing done with PusaSlicer.

No raft or brim used, these would probably be a pain to remove ^^

Finishing

• Basic finishing can be done with just acrylic paint applied with a brush or even using a felt pen.
• For a pro finish I use the following:
  • Rough sanding of the model
  • Apply UV resistant epoxy resin witha brush
  • Fine grain sanding
  • Acrylic paint applied with airbrush
  • Clear acrylic coating applied with airbrush
