The prevailing trend among science laboratory equipment manufacturers and brands involves creating tools and stands exclusively tailored to their own products, fostering a monopolistic environment within the market. However, this practice often poses challenges for users, particularly in laboratories where a variety of equipment from different brands is utilized. The resulting lack of compatibility leads to a disorganized working environment, where not all tools can be accommodated by the available stands, potentially causing damage to the pipettes or inconvenience as they may lose the calibration of the pipette. In response to this common issue, the 'universal' pipette stand has been developed. Designed to accommodate a wide range of pipettes from different brands, this stand aims to alleviate compatibility concerns and promote smoother laboratory operations for the user.

This particular attachment uses the existing stand by the brand - 'Fisherbrand' , you just have to replace the rotating head with this new 3D printed one. Although, you can also print a new base and the whole stand as an independent unit.
