Preamble
As a big Fan of Rock Climbing i wanted to train my Grip. All Designs i found had a countersunk Hole through the middle and by that a protruding Knot sticking out the top, that had to be so small that i didn't trust it too much with my weights.
How it Works
you feed a piece of rope (i use 50cm long rope) through the bottom, pull it out on top and shove it down the other hole. You can then either tie a knot on the Bottom or tie the rope in a loop through your Weights.
You then attach weights to the rope, grip the ball (i would alternate Holding it from below or from the top) and either just hold it, lift it up or curl. You may also put it on your palm, put the rope in between your fingers and use it to stretch your fingers without using a hangboard or ledge.
