Designed for 1cm-wide LED strips with 60 LEDs per meter, 3-pin connections and protective coating (e.g. IP65 strips). Can be printed on a V0 print bed.
You'll need 2 stripes of 8 LEDs and 4 M3x6 screws in total. I used 'Slide-in Nuts' to fix them to the extrusions.
The LED holders are designed so that both strips receive the same data from their first data pin, making wiring easy (there's no need to connect the two strips in series), and the colors displayed are symmetrical when viewed from the front.
There's a small slot at the beginning of each holder so that the soldering doesn't touch the acrylic panel. You can run the wires to the electronics compartment through the small gap between the back panel and the 1515 extrusion on each side.
