I finally got around to creating/updating this!
The big deal is that the gear to move the caliper is now enclosed and printed out without need to attach it later.
So only 2 items to print.
Are these calipers great? No!! They are cheap !!!
The idea is you can print out tons and hand them out to students for simple science projects or teaching them how calipers work and not worry about them breaking a more expensive pair.
Heck let em take them home!
roughly 0.02 KG in filament and at $20/KG = $0.40 … so calipers for under 50 cents :)
