UPDATE: added HD Clamp mount
Articulating desklamp with LED or COB strip light head. You can print as many arms as you want, since its mixed (one end male and one end female). Its pretty handy at the working space, because of the mounting arm moving angles.
The lower mount moves freely, but if you want to be a little snug, you can print the 1mm washer and add it to the mount.
Also, I have included the female washer for the LED strip head (refer to the pictures) if you dont want the head to be fixed. After adding the washers, you can move the head up down or sideways freely.
I just assembled the light with what i had. I have designed the LED strip head to accomodate 3 lines of led strips (8mm wide and 200mm long). And used the 220v strip, not to use the 220v to 12/24v adapter block.
I printed everything with PLA, the led strip does not get hot, so PLA is doing pretty good.
205mm arm, washers, led strip head, 90 degree mount, lower mount - 15% infill, 2 layer shell
Nuts, bolts, clamp, clamp bolts (both, lower and upper), - 30% infill, 4 leyer shell
Refer to the last screenshot for the correct 3D printing positioning of the parts…
Please, be very careful with the soldering and wiring these lights. I dont take any responsibility for that.
The desklamp is designed in Fusion 360, which i have learned in 2 days and please, let me know in the comments if anything is wrong, etc.. I designed it because i wanted more hexagonal design and i learned a little bit of fusion 360 creating this.
Let me know what you think, what you would prefer or anything you would change.
