Work in Progress
I wanted to mount some lights for my Ender 3 pro, I know that a lot of people just put them in the rails, but I didn't want to fight with them if I were to ever take the top rail off. So I made this mount that can be removed and put back.
Here are the switch and LED strip that I used, in case you need some. I'm also going to post the FreeCad files in case you wish to alter the sizes as your switches or LEDs could be different. I'm also working on a mount for a light that mounts to the BL Touch Screw holes. That file will be added to the collection as soon as it's done. Also fair warning about the freecad files, I am by no means anything other than a rookie. So you may or may not find stuff that you would do differently.
Final note: your mileage may vary, as everyone's printer is calibrated differently. But for me, I sliced this in Cura with bridging mode on, at a .2mm layer height. With said settings, I was able to print the models with no supports. The switch mount needs to be laid on its side, and you with need at least 2 clips, but I modeled it to be used with 3. Clips will have to be glued in place once printed.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
