The design is intended to have easily swap-able cooling ducts so better duct designs can be installed in the future.

The design is for the CHC Pro hotend.

Recommend using a WS7040 fan with this enclosure: https://www.printables.com/model/751151-ws7040-cpap-fan-enclosure

toolhead_gates.stl has belt spacing for use with the Gates version of https://www.printables.com/model/781510-the-100-rigid-gantry. If using the non-Gates version of the rigid gantry or the The 100 v1.1 gantry use toolhead.stl instead.

Requires m3 heat inserts for the hotend clamp, a 4010 cooling fan, screws to screw the clamp to the toolhead, and screws to screw the fan into the plastic frame.

Changelog

  • v1.1
    • Added versions for bambu hotends, also including bltouch mounts. Note that hotend fan must always be hooked up or there is a risk of melting the mount. Also it is best to install the hotend with filament threaded partway through before tightening the mount screws to make sure everything is aligned. Also note that the hotend mount screws should have threadlocker as they are prone to loosening.
    • Improved airduct flow.
